Privacy policy

Blood pressure readings are health information, so we keep what we collect small.

The calculator

The free calculator does not store anything. Readings you type are sent to our server to be averaged and the result is returned to you.

If you create an account

• We store your name, email address, password (hashed), and the readings you choose to save.
• Your readings are only visible to you when you are logged in.
• We email you only to confirm your address and to reset your password, and to reply if you write to us.

The contact form

If you write to us we receive your name, email address, and message so we can reply. Please do not include health details in a message.

Page-view analytics

On our public information pages we use PostHog to count page views and see which sites send visitors, so we know which guides are useful. PostHog sets a cookie to tell visitors apart. We turn off click tracking and session recording, we honor your browser's Do Not Track setting, and we do not run analytics on the calculator, your results, or logged-in account pages.

Advertising

Our public information pages (home, guides, about, how it works, contact, privacy, and terms) show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads, and may personalize them based on your visits to this and other sites. You can manage ad personalization in your Google ad settings.

We do not show ads, and do not load advertising scripts, on the calculator, on your results, or on logged-in account pages, and we never share your readings with advertisers.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data or share your readings with anyone.
• Health data is never placed in page addresses or logs.
